- This was an incredible book. I've read it twice and very highly recommend reading it. I will not bother to see the movie. I really like Viggo as an actor but this story could never properly translate to a movie. First, the story takes time to tell...a book's time...not a couple of hours.

- And where has this man been living? A cave? If he's violated an oath as a justice of the peace, this guy needs to be censured. If not, the public can just take action. Mentally (and economically) kick him to the curb.

- I voted no. These people should not be relegated to living in the woods in tents. However, I don't think the authorities need to help these people find homes. Instead, laws need to be changed. If these people are fit for society, they should rejoin it.

- I can't say why it is, call it a gut instinct, but Alex 'creeps me out'. There is an undercurrent of something left unadressed in that young man. There is also something missing when I look into his eyes.

- I see no purpose in opening the log of White House visitors to public view. The only interest I can imagine would really come from those who present a security risk. The White House is not only a home and place of business but the seat of power in this country.

- Oh, bless her heart! Childhood cancer just breaks my heart. I hope she gets through this and lives a long and happy life. I can't help but question the point of the article, however. No information is provided other than that this girl has cancer and is 10.
